The Church possesses a treasure house of teaching in the writings of the Fathers of the Church. The mission of the St. Lambert Patristics Seminar is to unlock that treasury so that the wealth to be found therein may be appreciated by a wider community.
As Catholics we recognize God’s ultimate self-revelation in the person of Jesus Christ ―the living Word of God. We also revere the Bible as a “heavensent treasure” and “the most precious source of doctrine on faith and morals.” Pope Leo XII reminds us “…there is in the Holy Scripture an eloquence that is wonderfully varied and rich, and worthy of great themes.” The Fathers of the Church “…well knew all this by practical experience,and they never cease to extol the sacred Scripture and its fruits.”
Guided by Dr. Scott Hahn and Mike Aquililna, This seminar will examine the Bible from the vantage of the Fathers, the ones through whom the Holy Spirit bestowed this treasure on the Church.

The seminar registration cost is $20.00 without lunch and $30.00 with lunch. Please make check payable to St. Lambert Parish.
